MLB Australian Baseball Academy 2015
Kingsley Collins
31 July 2015
The annual MLB Australian Baseball Academy Programme will commence on the Gold Coast on Saturday 1 August and will run through over the next three weeks.
Established and presented with the ongoing support of Major League Baseball, the highly-successful Academy will this year be attended by seventy-five emerging baseball stars from Australia, New Zealand and mainland China.
The Australian Baseball Academy has provided an invaluable and elite programme under the tutelage of some of Australia’s most outstanding baseball people, who have materially assisted several players in their progression through the ranks to as far as Major League level.
Already well-drilled at state high performance level, the players will experience intensive training and game play six days a week for three weeks under a stellar staffing group that includes Alumni members Jon Deeble (Australian Head Coach), Graeme Lloyd and Glenn Williams.
Invited players and coaching staff are listed below.
We believe that Sports Broadcasting Australia will be streaming MLBAAP games from next Tuesday 4 August 10.30AM. Details will be posted here as available or can be accessed via Sports Broadcasting Australia FACEBOOK.
Baseball Australia will be posting daily updates - including schedule, scoring and statistics - on its dedicated event page at the following address:

Australian Baseball Alumni will seek to provide reports from coaching staff on-site during the duration of the Academy programme.
