While this website and our Facebook page are both easily accessible to the general public, the Australian Baseball Alumni offers distinct advantages to those persons choosing to take out annual membership at minimal cost.
Subscription will entitle members to a range of benefits that will include discounted admission to specified ABL activities, get-togethers at particular ABL games, networking opportunities, discounts on baseball equipment and the opportunity to bid for valuable memorabilia supplied by current and former Australians to have played at Major League Baseball level.
Other initiatives that were incorporated during our first year - and that will be expanded over time - will include a mentoring service for young players seeking to embark on college or professional careers, along with the provision of playing tips and coaching videos compiled by elite coaches and players from around Australia.
We are in the process of establishing a scholarship fund that will annually assist an emerging young player from each state.
Australian Baseball Alumni is an established and fully accountable legal entity. It is a not-for-profit organisation that will each year direct any surplus funds generated to junior teams or to other worthwhile community baseball projects as recommended by our membership.
