Australian Baseball Alumni is interested in speaking with any articulate, enthusiastic, flexible and dependable person - with a passion for baseball - who would be keen to assist us with our online coverage of Australian Baseball League for the 2017/18 season.

 

While Baseball Australia, the ABL and its affiliate teams will as usual provide their own reporting, we will again seek to complement that coverage with weekly previews, reviews and features designed both to serve our expanding membership and to promote Australian baseball.

 

A not-for-profit organisation relying solely on volunteers and contributors, Australian Baseball Alumni does not yet have the means to offer payment for services – other than annual membership and press access to ABL games.

 

However, this is an ideal opportunity for an aspiring sports journalist to contribute to a quality online service that has, as its patrons, many of the prominent and most revered persons in Australian baseball. It offers the potential to form invaluable contacts, to establish credibility in baseball reporting and to derive great personal satisfaction from a job well done.
