Australian Baseball Alumni is proud to announce that we have once again been able to sponsor an Australian team going away. This time it is the U18 Australian team who are currently in Osaka preparing for their first game on Friday 28 August.
Many thanks to Glenn Williams for his tireless work in organising the memorabilia and the auctions, and a special thanks to David Nilsson, Pat Kelly, Justin Huber and Trent Oeltjen for supplying us with items to auction.
Special thanks also to Jeff Williams who has been terrific in his help for the boys in Osaka.
A very special thanks to Graeme Lloyd who continues to supply auction items and has raised over $1,500 so far with items he has donated.
These guys don't like to be mentioned but we think it is important that their contributions are recognised in helping out the future of Australian baseball.
In our first year of operation we have donated over $10,000 to 5 teams that have toured the past 12 months, so thank you to all our paid members, our sponsors and those who bid on items in Glenn's auctions.
Hopefully we continue to grow and are able to help more players and teams in the future. Please take out a membership and make sure you are a part of helping build our future.

EDITOR'S NOTE: While Chairman Brett Ward has been instrumental in engaging so many wonderful baseball people in the Australian Baseball Alumni project, we need the support of the broader baseball community to help us achieve our objectives. We urge you to become involved - either by taking out a membership, by supporting our auctions, by offering sponsorship, or simply by placing our logo and link on your club or your organisations's website and social media. Even, if you wish, by suggesting story ideas to pursue (email email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org). All support will be greatly valued.
